How to Receive Voicemail in your email

Hi, I am Alejandro at Voiceopia, and I am going to teach you how to receive Voicemail in your email.

To receive voicemails in your email it is very simple.
Simply email support@voiceopia.com with your company name, email, extension name, and extension # as well as a note to request to receive voicemails in your email.

You will begin receiving emails from vm@voiceopia.com
The subject line will include the number that received the call.
The body of the email will include the Extension Name, Extension #, Caller ID, Caller #, Length, Date, and Time.
If you have elected to receive a copy of the audio in your email then you will also receive an attachment with it.

Below is some helpful information in regards to receiving Voicemail to Email:

When receiving a voicemail email, occasionally, a smart device may try and attribute the vm@voiceopia.com email address as the caller. This email address is simply a no-reply email.

If you receive a voicemail email, you will never be able to reply to the email and get to the caller.

Our suggestion is to add vm@voiceopia.com to your contacts as "VoiceMail Server" or something similar, to avoid any future confusion thinking that the voicemail can somehow be replied to or that it is associated with a caller.

The emails can, of course, be forwarded on to someone else, if needed.

If you ever have any questions or comments, give us a call or text at 423-509-8000 or send us an email at support@voiceopia.com. We are more than willing to answer any questions you might have.
